Below text is from the ‘Job overview’ box (over character limit):

The ability to communicate in a personable, approachable and respectful manner to individuals from inside and outside the organisation is essential to building the relationships needed to promote safe working practices – ‘Human Factors’ training has been introduced throughout the Trust as a mandatory requirement, to enhance our clinical performance through understanding the effects of teamwork and culture on human behaviour.

The PACU Team is dedicated to improving patients’ experience by undertaking Quality Improvement initiatives.

We provide a supportive orientation programme – all trainees work In a supernumerary capacity alongside an assigned mentor until assessed as being competent to work independently - therefore a high level of supervisory skills are required.

We encourage professional development of all our staff, so we hope to see a willingness to develop in your application.

As a teaching hospital we support student nurses and student ODPs from both adult and child branch, in collaboration with the UEA.  We have received the award for Excellence in Student Support as part of the Mentorship Programme.

Mentorship Preparation certificate or teaching equivalent and enhanced practice skills would be an advantage.

We take PRIDE in our work for the NNUH and look forward to how your application will also demonstrate these values in your daily practice.
