KCHFT Dental Services are a high profile, dynamic provider of NHS dental services across East Kent and London. Our philosophy is to keep the patient at the heart of everything we do. Every person that works for our Service, regardless of their role, comes into contact with our patients and visitors and so is expected to uphold our values, lead and collaborate through partnership working and strive for excellence at all times.
We look for people who are willing to go the extra mile, not because they are asked to, but because they are committed to being part of a healthcare team that delivers an excellent caring service to our patients.
We are currently looking for a Admin Assistant to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the Oral Health promotion admin and clinical teams delivering a broad range of large-scale community outreach programmes. You will act as an ambassador for the Service, promoting the highest standards of excellence in working practices.
You will support the clinical teams on school intervention programme visits during the academic year and during school term breaks offer admin support to the Project teams and clinics as and when needed.
You will be expected to support the teams in multiple boroughs across North East London if the need should arise. You will ensure stock levels are maintained and inform the Project Support Officers when stock is running low.
The post holder will need to be able to work in a very busy environment whilst remaining calm, so the ability to work independently, proactively and under pressure is important.
We welcome applications from individuals wishing to further their knowledge and skills and gain a recognised qualification. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team, gaining valuable work experience. So if you do not have the essential qualification for the role, this may not be an automatic barrier to you being offered an interview. Details on pay and course length can be found in the documents attached to this job advert.
Please note, this vacancy does not meet the criteria for skilled worker sponsorship and therefore, we are unable to accept applications from candidates that cannot provide documentary evidence of right to work in the United Kingdom.
