About the Role
As an Assistant Team Manager (OT), you will provide professional Occupational Therapy leadership within a multidisciplinary service while maintaining an active caseload and delivering high-quality OT practice. You will undertake complex assessments and interventions, provide supervision and support to colleagues, contribute to safeguarding and risk management decision-making, and help ensure timely, strengths-based outcomes for residents. About the Team
The Occupational Therapy team supports adults with a wide range of needs, including older people, individuals with physical or sensory impairments, learning disabilities and mental health needs. Using a strengths-based approach, the team delivers holistic assessments and interventions that promote independence and wellbeing, from equipment provision and moving and handling assessments to environmental adaptations and longer-term support. We are a supportive, collaborative team that values learning, reflective practice and professional development, with a strong focus on delivering excellent outcomes for residents.
About Connect to Community (C2C)

Working within a multidisciplinary, strengths-based model, C2C brings together expertise in occupational therapy, safeguarding, risk management, Mental Capacity Act work, urgent support planning and community-based solutions to provide coordinated, responsive support. Unlike other functions within C2C, Occupational Therapists retain responsibility for cases requiring ongoing or long-term OT involvement, providing continuity of support throughout the resident's journey while remaining fully integrated within the wider service.
