About

Starting in November 2027, a wonderful Friday nanny position has become available with a friendly, warm and active family in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire. The family is looking for a fun, patient and happy nanny to join their family. Dad works in the military and is often away for long periods, so you will be working alongside Mum, who is a teacher.

You will be caring for a happy and active little girl who is aged four years.

The working hours will be 07.00-17.00 each Friday. There will also be the opportunity for additional babysitting and ad hoc hours. These hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.

During term time, you will carry out the school runs, and carry out the household tasks in the day. In the school holidays there will be the opportunity to take the little girl to various activities and have lots of fun at home too.

You will be responsible for preparing a healthy and nutritious meal for the little girl.

You will help keep on top of the family laundry, and keep the little girl’s bedroom and playroom clean, tidy and organised. Any additional help that keeps the household running smoothly would be appreciated, such as keeping the kitchen tidy, loading and emptying the dishwasher and tidying up after the little girl. The family employs a weekly cleaner, so this is not a housekeeping role.

Although not essential, a driver would be advantageous. If you do drive, you must be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.

Details of training needed for this job: 12 hour Paediatric First Aid and Enhanced DBS (update)

Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Level 3 Childcare if possible, but experience essential

Pay: £10,400 gross per annum / mutually agreed overtime to be paid at £20 gross per hour
