Your new company

You will be joining an established business based in Ledbury that is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join their Finance team on an initial 6-month temporary basis, with the potential to go permanent.

Your new role

This will be a predominantly Accounts Receivable and Credit Control focused role, with some crossover into wider Accounts Assistant duties.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing Accounts Receivable and credit control
• Chasing outstanding debt via phone and email
• Allocating customer payments and reconciling the sales ledger
• Carrying out credit checks and maintaining credit limits
• Processing invoices and credit notes
• Producing aged debt and AR reports
• Intercompany invoicing and reconciliations
• Supporting month-end and balance sheet reconciliations
• Resolving billing queries and supporting process improvements

What you'll need to succeed

You will have previous experience within Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Control, with confidence managing a busy ledger and chasing outstanding debt. You will ideally be available at short notice and comfortable working fully on-site in Ledbury.

What you'll get in return

This is an ASAP start, initially for 6 months, with the potential to become permanent. The role is paying up to £18 per hour, depending on experience, and offers an early finish on Fridays.
