Social Workers Learning Disability & Autism Team
These posts operate under a Career Grade/Grading Assessment Scheme, with starting salary and progression through the grades being linked to experience, qualifications and level of work being undertaken.
The Social Worker posts advertised will be recruited at Bands I and J (£39,152-£46,142) dependent on the applicant’s experience (See job profiles attached for full information). Please specify the band you are applying for in your application.
Our advert is placed on a rolling basis as we have vacancies for learning disability social workers and social workers with specific experience and knowledge working with autistic customers and their families.

About our Learning Disability & Autism Team
The Learning Disability and Autism Team provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in relation to working with individuals who have a Learning Disability and/or who are autistic. We work with the person to achieve their goals/outcomes and promote independence and autonomy using a strength based, person-centred approach. The Learning Disability and Autism Team take a proactive approach to development and undertake consistent Continued Professional Development sessions to improve confidence and knowledge. This goes hand in hand with the RMBC core training offer. There is a mixture of experienced and newly qualified staff within the team who all bring value and add to our positive culture. There is consistent management support that will help give direction and look out for your wellbeing.
