- About
We are looking for a Social Worker to join an Adult's First Contact Team.
This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.
About the team
This team specialises in community based work by providing a first response service for people in the community in need of support from health or social care. The team works in a very fast paced environment and focusses on short term case holding for 4-6 weeks to start the process of long term care solutions, crisis intervention work, organise respite services and complete placement assessments. The team promote living well and safely at home by having strength based conversations to support and promote independent wellbeing.
About you
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a community based Social Work team. A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years' experience is essential for this role. A valid UK driving licence and car is essential for this position.
