Calderdale’s School Organisation and Access Team is part of the Education and Inclusion Service for the Children and Young People’s Service’s Directorate. The team deals with a broad range of school admission, school organisational and planning issues. The team ensures that there are enough places available to accommodate all Calderdale pupils and that the school estate remains viable, operational through a strategic and collaborative approach with school leadership and other council services.

The team is responsible for the management of the PFI contract covering 5 schools. The team will be responsible for delivering Local Authority commitments to support the delivery of 12 rebuilding projects, the subject of recent successful bids through the DFE School Rebuilding Programme.
