Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a

Removals Assistant on behalf of our fantastic client based in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to join a growing business, offering regular work with the potential for increased hours during busy periods.

Your Role as a Removals Assistant

As a

Removals Assistant, your duties will include:

• Assisting with domestic and commercial removals.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture and household items.
• Disassembling and reassembling furniture using hand and power tools.
• Packing, protecting and securing items for transportation.
• Assisting drivers and team members during deliveries and collections.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service whilst on-site.
• Working at various customer locations throughout the UK.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and professionally.

Requirements

• Previous removals experience is essential.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience disassembling and reassembling furniture.
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
• Reliable, punctual and hard-working.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence is desirable, although transport can be arranged if required.
• Flexible to travel and work at locations across the UK.

Pay & Shifts

£14.00 per hour

• Start times typically

08:00 or 09:00

• Working hours will vary depending on workload.
• Typically

3-4 days per week, including weekend work where required.

• During busy periods, this may increase to

up to 6 days per week.

• Ongoing temporary work.
