A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant (PA) to join a small, friendly team supporting a lady living in the Coalville area. We are looking for someone who can provide practical support, companionship, and encouragement to help her remain comfortable and independent in her own home.
You will provide support tailored to the individual's needs throughout the day, including:

Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
About the Person You Will Support
You will be supporting a friendly lady who enjoys spending time talking about her family, watching television, listening to rock and roll music, and reminiscing about dancing with her husband. She enjoys outings in her wheelchair during good weather, particularly visiting local cafés and shops. She loves animals, especially dogs, and has a particular fondness for chocolate.
The lady lives with several health conditions, including Advanced Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), vascular dementia, hypertension, joint pain, and the effects of a previous stroke. She can become short of breath when moving around and may sometimes be forgetful, so she benefits from clear, direct communication and a patient, understanding approach.
We are looking for someone who is:
Caring, patient, and reliable
Able to provide personal care with dignity and respect
Comfortable following moving and handling procedures
A good communicator with a calm and supportive manner
Able to build a positive working relationship and provide meaningful companionship
Female applicants only, as this role involves providing personal care.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone's day-to-day life while becoming part of a supportive and dedicated care team. It is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and friendly, and respectful of others’ privacy, dignity, values, and beliefs
Genuine applicants only please.
Benefits for an employed PA include 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (pro rata) Pension, Tax and NI contributions
DBS paid for by funding authority, (if you don’t already have a certificate).
Role subject to interview and references.
