Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver The Best Connection Scotland are currently recruiting for our National Aviation Client who are looking to add Day and Night Class 2 (C) Drivers to their driving team working with their logistics teams to complete deliveries to Glasgow Airport.

This role is Ongoing work with opportunities for the right candidates to go permanent with the client at their Glasgow Depot.

Basic duties will include: Delivering goods in a secure & controlled environment Loading materials onto vehicle Loading and unloading catering goods to aircraft Liaison with flight crew Working in collaboration with ground handling team General vehicle checks and upkeep of vehicle. This can be a physically demanding job so candidate must have a good level of fitness. Must complete clients paperwork to a good standard Requirements: Class 2 HGV Driving Licence with 1 years experience Max 3 points with no major endorsements Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card Documented and references covering a 5 year work history Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check Excellent communication skills Airport Airside Driving experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided Rates of pay and Shifts: Pay = £17.14ph Days and £18.85 Nights Rota is a 4 on 4 off rota Shifts are BETWEEN 06:00 to 10:00 and 2000 to 0000 Nights 12 Hour Shifts The successful applicants will benefit from the below: Ongoing position for the right candidate Full time hours Excellent Rate of Pay Full free PPE & Training; 28 days of paid holiday Pension Scheme Free meals whilst on shift Free on-site parking available Uniform provided For an immediate interview please call our driving team on 0141 353 3522
