Job Title: Nursery Assistant
Location: York
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £13.50 - £14.25 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a small independent nursery based in York, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant. The nursery offers a welcoming environment for young children to learn, play and develop, with a dedicated forest school area providing exciting opportunities for outdoor learning and exploration.
The nursery is looking to take on a passionate Nursery Assistant on a long-term, part-time basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Nursery Assistant will work across all rooms within the nursery, supporting children's learning and development through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), planning creative activities and encouraging children to explore, play and build their confidence.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare desirable
•
Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting
•
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
•
A creative approach to planning fun and engaging activities
•
A 'can-do' attitude with the willingness to get stuck in
•
Adaptability and confidence working across different nursery rooms
