Role: Painter & Decorator

Location: Barnstaple and surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £29,265.12 Depending on experience - plus benefits

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

The Role

We are looking to recruit a Painter & Decorator to join our Home2Home team. You will be one of several painter & decorators working either in void properties or as part of the company’s response and/ or minor works.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

To be responsible for painting, decorating and tiling in void properties within the allocated time and to a good standard, ensuring good communication with relevant parties.
To plan and manage work effectively to achieve a high performing and high-quality void service.
To order materials for scheduled work.
Develop effective working relationships with colleagues, partners and key stakeholders to support the delivery of the void works programme.
About You

You will be looking to work for a supportive company delivering valuable services to the local community.
You will have demonstrable experience in Painting & Decorating.
You will have additional experience of basic wall tiling.
You will have working knowledge of health & safety principles.
You will work well in a team environment, be comfortable working independently and be supportive of others.
You will hold a full drivers licence.
