Location: Trenewydd Care Home - Shaw healthcare, Trenewydd, Brecon

Salary: £13.45 per hour

Working Hours: Bank 0 hour - As/When needed in service *including weekends

About The Home:

Trenewydd is a 35 bed care home designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for its residents with features such as easily accessible gardens and shared spaces that are designed to be both stimulating and calming. Situated in the friendly residential suburb of Llanfaes, near Brecon and close to local amenities, the purpose-built home works hard to create a welcoming and homely atmosphere where residents can access any of the three lounges to share time with friends and family.

About the Role

Working alongside our Chef, you'll help prepare nutritious meals that bring comfort and enjoyment to our residents. You'll also help keep the kitchen running smoothly, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and safety.

What You'll Be Doing

Assisting with food preparation.

Preparing hot meals, sandwiches and light refreshments when required.

Keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic.

Cleaning food preparation areas and kitchen equipment.

Clearing tea trolleys where applicable.

Managing kitchen waste and maintaining a safe working environment.

Following food hygiene, Health & Safety and company procedures.

Working as part of a supportive and friendly catering team.
