We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

📍Location: West Bromwich 

This is a predominantly non-patient facing role, with the

opportunity to become a permanent position following an initial 12-week

contract. Based at the Superdrug West Bromwich Pharmacy, the role involves

picking and packing PMED orders for the Superdrug.com Hub, ensuring orders are

processed accurately and efficiently. There may also be opportunities for

overtime to provide cover during periods of annual leave, so a degree of

flexibility is required. This position would be ideal for a qualified dispenser

or a university pharmacy student looking to gain valuable pharmacy experience

in a growing online pharmacy environment.

Every other Saturday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, plus

every Sunday, 10:00am to 4:00pm. As Superdrug's working week runs from Sunday

to Saturday, this is technically classed as one day per week on the rota.

🕒Hours: 6 hours, working every other Saturday plus every Sunday 10 till 4pm. 

💷Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.00 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

🩺 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising

👩‍⚕️ We’re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
