This is an exceptionally exciting time to join Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Cwm Rhondda. We are seeking an experienced, proactive and safety-conscious Site Manager to provide senior operational leadership for our buildings, grounds and site services.
With a £77.5 million investment in a new school campus, scheduled to open in 2029, the school is entering a major period of change and development. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe, secure and fully operational current site while also playing an important practical role in major works, decant planning, building transition and operational readiness for the new campus.
Working with a high degree of day-to-day autonomy under the strategic direction of the School Business Manager, the Site Manager will be the school’s senior operational premises specialist. They will lead the site team, coordinate statutory premises-compliance systems, plan and prioritise maintenance, supervise contractors on site and provide clear technical and operational advice on significant works.If you are interested in the role, please feel free to contact the Headteacher, Craig Spanswick, for an informal discussion.
