The role

This could be the perfect time for you to join us in our Information Management Department as a Data Management and Assessment Administrator (DMAT) Administrator.

As a DMAT Administrator you will provide an administrative and support service to effectively and efficiently contribute to the review, retain or destruction of Force archive physical assets in line with the Information Management Strategy, Force procedures and Management of Police Information. Retrieve archive physical assets from long term storage ensuring accurate records are held.

What you’ll do

Provide transactional and administrative support to ensure that data held across the force estate is managed in accordance with the Force Information Management Strategy and its accompanying legal obligations.

Undertake the assessment of physical data retrieved from all Area Commands and Departments ensuring effective and timely processing in accordance with Data Management and Assessment Team and Force procedures, including the interrogation of Force systems to ascertain correct disposal/indexing of records.

In accordance with procedures, physically compile assets and maintain an accurate record of processed data so that destruction, retention and archive details can be easily retrieved.

Provide a good level of customer service, processing enquiries, providing and receiving information, or redirecting relevant staff to ensure effective and timely completion of transactions and customer satisfaction.

Liaise with internal and external service providers and agencies to ensure that the processing of data is seamless and timely.

You’ll also need a valid UK driving licence to travel between sites when required.

Terms of appointment

This is fixed term role subject to a six-month probationary period.
