Title: Key Account Manager
Location: Home-based - Covering the Midlands or North
Salary: Competitive salary + car + benefits

Hours: Typically, Mon to Fri 8am to 5.30pm

About you
You are a confident, motivated professional with a proven track record in sales—ideally within the generator hire or equipment
rental industry. You have strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, along with a "can do" attitude that enables
you to build lasting client relationships.
You understand the applications of temporary power solutions across various sectors and can work independently to manage multiple
accounts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and ideally Microsoft 365 and CoPilot is essential. A full UK driving
licence is required.
Desirable experience includes:
* Working in sectors such as finance, healthcare, data centres, utilities, or industrial services.
* Technical knowledge of generators and associated equipment.
* An established network in the Midlands or North of England commercial/industrial markets.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Key Account Manager to lead business development efforts and nurture existing client
relationships. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering tailored power
solutions that exceed expectations.

Key responsibilities
* Achieve sales targets with a focus on turnover and conversion ratios
* Identify and develop opportunities within both existing accounts and new prospects, particularly in the temporary power sector
* Conduct client meetings and site visits to assess requirements and propose tailored solutions
* Collaborate internally to design and deliver bespoke power solutions
* Manage account portfolios to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business
* Work to client deadlines for tenders and proposal submissions
* Negotiate contracts to ensure profitability and client satisfaction
* Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and sector dynamics
* Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in 4) to support emergency customer requirements
