Job purpose
For me to be able to get out and about a bit more rather than staying inside the house.
About me
I am 9-year-old boy with special needs. I am non-verbal and cannot communicate in any way. I also have very limited understanding. I love being out and about in my buggy and my favourite shops are The Range, Asda and B&M. I sometimes like to get out of my buggy-but my behaviour can be unpredictable as I may start to run around. I am very fast at running and can be quite difficult to pick up. I also love sensory things and soft play, although I am not a big fan of loud crowds.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• To help me get out and about
• To go to different and new places, go out on walks and try different activities
• To help me try out new things
• Training will be required on how to use his tube to feed
The employee should discuss any problems or concerns and report directly to myself (Dad). I expect the employee to be respectful, reliable, professional, patient and caring and to treat my son with dignity and respect.
