At Partou, every successful hire helps shape the experiences of children, families and nursery teams. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our nurseries across the South of England, helping them attract, engage and hire talented Early Years professionals.
This is more than a vacancy filling role. You will become a trusted recruitment partner to Nursery Managers and Area Managers, helping them navigate hiring challenges, strengthen talent pipelines and create a warm, straightforward experience for every candidate.
Whether your background is in in house recruitment or agency recruitment, this is an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading childcare organisations and use your recruitment expertise to make a visible difference.
What you`ll be doing
- Managing end to end recruitment for nursery and Early Years vacancies across your region.
- Partnering with Nursery Managers and Area Managers to understand current vacancies, workforce plans and local recruitment challenges.
- Acting as a trusted recruitment advisor, coaching and supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment and selection process.
- Writing clear, inclusive and engaging job adverts that connect with the right candidates.
- Proactively sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, talent pools, referrals and direct search.
- Building pipelines for roles including Early Years Practitioners, Nursery Practitioners, Deputy Managers and Nursery Managers.
- Delivering an excellent candidate experience, with timely communication and genuine care from first contact through to offer and onboarding.
- Using recruitment data and insight to identify priorities, maintain momentum and improve hiring outcomes.
- Supporting safer recruitment practices so every appointment is compliant, carefully considered and aligned with our values.
- Helping nurseries overcome recruitment challenges during periods of growth, change or increased hiring demand
Who we`re looking
You will be someone who genuinely cares about people and enjoys working in partnership with managers. You may currently work as a Recruiter, Internal Recruiter, Recruitment Consultant, Recruitment Advisor, Recruitment Partner or Talent Acquisition Partner. - Experience managing multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience of proactive candidate sourcing using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, talent pools or direct outreach.
- A practical, solutions focused approach and the confidence to influence hiring managers.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to balance quality and pace.
- A genuine commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate journey.
- The motivation to make a measurable difference to nursery teams and the children they support
