Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

About

An innovative technology company is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to manage and improve its AWS cloud infrastructure, security and data platform.

Working closely with the CTO and software team, you will be responsible for managing developer access and permissions, maintaining secure cloud environments, building data pipelines and improving CI CD processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code and CI CD pipelines.

Manage developer access, permissions and system integrations.

Build and maintain cloud-based data pipelines.

Monitor security, investigate incidents and improve security processes.

Work with software, data and product teams on technical improvements.

Requirements

Six years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering.

At least Three years of hands-on experience with AWS in production.

Strong experience with AWS CDK and GitHub Actions.

Experience with Lambda, ECS and Fargate.

Good knowledge of AWS security, IAM, KMS and incident response.

Experience with data pipelines using Kinesis, Kafka or similar.

Proficiency in TypeScript and some Python.

Strong communication skills and ability to take technical ownership.

Experience with AWS Bedrock or other LLM platforms.

Hybrid working, minimum two days per week in a Central London office.
