- About
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Vascular Access Specialist Nurse to join our specialist Vascular Access Team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for a highly skilled, dynamic and compassionate nurse who is passionate about vascular access, committed to delivering excellent patient-centred care and keen to contribute to the continued development of our nurse-led service.
The Royal Marsden Vascular Access Team provides a specialist service supporting patients with complex vascular access needs across a wide range of clinical settings. Our team plays a key role in ensuring patients receive the right vascular access device, at the right time, for the right treatment.
The successful candidate will join an experienced and supportive team, contributing to specialist clinical practice, education, service improvement and the development of innovative approaches to vascular access care.
We are seeking a confident and adaptable practitioner with at least two years’ relevant experience, advanced skills in ultrasound-guided cannulation and PICC insertion, and the ability to manage complex clinical situations independently. Excellent communication, teaching and leadership skills are essential, alongside a positive attitude, enthusiasm for supporting colleagues and a genuine commitment to teamwork. Experience with other central venous access devices would be an advantage.
If you are passionate about vascular access and ready for your next challenge, we would love to hear from you.
