Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 GCSEs, including Maths and English, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of lookups and pivot tables
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an HR department.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable:
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is desirable.
What's involved with this role: A detail-oriented candidate with a strong understanding of Excel to support an HR project. This role focuses solely on extracting and formatting large datasets, ensuring the information is accurate, well-organized, and ready for use in the project. Proficiency in Excel, especially in handling large volumes of data, is essential for success in this position. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth processing and presentation of data for analysis within the project.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies and scheduling interviews.
Coordinate and schedule training sessions for new and existing employees.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
Support payroll functions by ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee information.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to HR metrics.
Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.
