The Virtual Ward is an innovative ward allowing us to treat acutely unwell patients in their own homes. We are a 24 hour seven day a week service. Patients are monitored remotely using Feebris remote monitoring technology. We take patients from all specialities.

We cover all specialties within the Hospital so a good, broad experience is a necessity. We are often carrying out nurse -led services taking advise from a very broad Multi-Disciplinary Team.

The following skills and experience will be required and are essential for the successful candidates:
• Ensure practice is in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and work within limits of competence.
• To have successfully completed the Trust’s preceptorship programme.
• Maintain a high standard of nursing care applying evidence-based practice.
• Carry out assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care without supervision remotely using Current Health technology.
• Carry out the daily virtual visits of patients.
