Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for your next opportunity? An established small animal practice in North Cambridgeshire is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join its welcoming and collaborative team.
The practice has built a strong reputation for providing quality patient care, with a close-knit team of veterinary surgeons, nurses and support staff who value teamwork, open communication and supporting one another. You'll be joining an environment where your contribution is valued, clinical discussion is encouraged and there's a genuine focus on staff wellbeing.
The role would suit an experienced vet who is confident with both medical and surgical cases and enjoys building strong relationships with clients. You'll ideally work across two local branches, with the opportunity to take on additional senior or leadership responsibilities if this is something you'd like to pursue. Equally, if you're looking to focus on your clinical work within a supportive team, there's flexibility to discuss the right role for you.
The Rota:
• 39 hours per week over four weekdays
• 5-hour working days
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8:30am–12:30pm
• No out-of-hours or on-call requirements
Why Join?
• Salary of £45,000–£75,000 DOE, depending on experience and scope of the role
• 6 weeks' paid annual leave, including bank holidays
• £1,750 annual CPD allowance, with further training and development support
• RCVS membership and VDS fees covered
• Company sick pay and discounted veterinary fees
• Annual pay reviews and career progression opportunities
• Potential for a Senior or Lead Vet role for the right candidate
If you're looking for a role where you can enjoy a varied caseload, work alongside a supportive team and develop your career without compromising your work-life balance, this could be a great opportunity.
