Production Operative Grade 1 - Gosport

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Production Operative Grade 1 to work with a leading paper product manufacturing company in Gosport. This role focuses on maintaining the efficiency of manufacturing equipment and supporting the production team.

Shift Patterns:

* Set shift patterns of 3x Day shift, 2x off, 2x night shift, 3x off.

* Pattern may vary based on operational demand.

Pay Rates:

* 12.71 GBP hourly

Essential Requirements for Production Operative Grade 1:

* Able to work shift work days and nights.

Skills and Qualifications for Production Operative Grade 1:

* Previous Manufacturing or Production experience.

* BTEC National Certificate Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

* Relevant NVQ.

* Worked with special purpose machinery.

* PC Literate.

* Experience of mechanical equipment fault finding and rectification.

* Working independently.

* Target driven.

* Organised.

* Proactive.

* Flexible in terms of tasks undertaken.

* Good communication skills.

* Capable of building and maintaining good working relationships, being a team member.

Role Responsibilities for Production Operative Grade 1:

* Ensure maximum effectiveness of all paper product manufacturing equipment.

* Fault find and rectify minor technical issues within capability.

* Notify engineering when issues are outside of remit.

* Make recommendations to improve efficiency.

* Work collaboratively in a team to maximise production output.
