SUPPORT WORKER
Bradford - BD13 - RH
Female Support Worker required to support a woman in her 40s living in Bradford.
The individual is neurodivergent and has complex PTSD, hidden disabilities, autoimmune conditions and other health needs.
Support is required both within the home and in the local community. The role involves providing consistent and reliable support to promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
Duties include:
• Supporting with meal planning, food preparation and cooking
• Providing prompts and encouragement with personal hygiene
• Supporting with household tasks, including laundry, cleaning and tidying
• Assisting with planning and maintaining daily routines
• Supporting with budgeting and managing finances
• Encouraging and supporting participation in activities at home and in the community
• Supporting the individual to manage the impact of neurodivergence on daily life
• Providing support to attend and manage healthcare appointments
Hours of Work
• 10-12 hours per week
• To be worked across 3 shifts per week
• Monday to Friday (hours to be agreed)
• Flexibility is essential
Location
• Bradford
Rate of Pay
• £12.71 per hour
Essential Requirements
• A full UK driving licence
• Ability to provide support in a respectful, inclusive and non-judgemental manner
• Reliability, patience and a person-centred approach
Desirable Requirements
• Experience of supporting neurodivergent individuals
• Experience of supporting people with mental health needs, PTSD or hidden disabilities
