Warehouse Operative - Mornings - Shirebrook

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative - Mornings to work with a leading retail group in Shirebrook. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring that sporting goods are processed, packed, and prepared for distribution efficiently.

Shift Patterns:

* Mornings 6:00AM - 14:30PM

* Any 5 out of 7 days per week (Rota provided, including weekends)

Pay Rates:

* Under 21 y. o: £12.55 p/h

* Above 21 y.o: £12.80 p/h

* Extra £1 an hour if shift starts on Saturday & Sunday

Essential Requirements for Warehouse Operative - Mornings:

* Candidates must be allowed to work 40 hours per week.

* Must be able to work the morning shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, including weekends on a rota basis.

* Must be comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks, including heavy lifting and handling items up to 25kg.

* Must be capable of standing or walking for long periods, between 5 and 8.5 hours per shift.

* Must check the commute distance and transportation available to the site in Shirebrook (NG20 8RY) prior to applying.

Role for Warehouse Operative - Mornings:

* Picking and packing sporting items for customer orders.

* Loading and unloading stock from delivery vehicles.

* Counting and checking goods in to ensure inventory accuracy.

* Performing general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe workspace.

* Handling various warehouse tasks involving bending, reaching, crouching, and stretching.

Location: Shirebrook. Please ensure you have reliable transportation to the site located in NG20 8RY.
