TEC Partnership is made up of four colleges, two training providers, a 14-16 provision and a nursery, stretching from Scarborough to Skegness with a Nottingham based campus also.

At TEC Partnership we offer high‑quality education, innovative training, and life‑changing opportunities to thousands of students each year. Our student support staff are passionate about making a real difference to our learner's potential and helping them to thrive in their next steps. We are now looking for someone who shares that commitment to join us in the role of Learning Technologist.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and digitally confident Learning Technologist to join our team and help staff explore and make effective use of new and emerging technologies across teaching, learning and assessment. Working with teaching and support teams across the Partnership, you will provide practical support and training, help develop engaging digital resources and champion technologies including AI, immersive and virtual reality, and other innovative digital tools.

This role could be particularly suited to someone currently teaching part-time, a Higher Education student, trainee teacher, or someone looking to develop their career in educational technology and digital learning. You do not need to be an expert in every technology from day one, as full training, ongoing support and opportunities to develop your skills will be provided.

• Supporting and training staff to confidently use digital and emerging technologies

• Helping teaching teams integrate technology into teaching, learning and assessment

• Developing engaging digital learning content and championing new approaches and technologies

About the person

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about using technology to enhance teaching, learning, and the overall learner experience. You will be confident supporting colleagues to develop their digital skills, enjoy exploring new technologies, and be able to communicate technical information in a clear and accessible way.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in a digital, creative, or related subject and have strong digital skills with a commitment to continuous professional development. They will be an excellent communicator, confident delivering training and presentations to a range of audiences, and able to build positive working relationships across the organisation. Strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities, along with a patient and supportive approach to helping others embrace technology, are essential.
