KS2 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Daily & Long-Term Supply
Are you a dedicated educator passionate about making a difference in the classroom? We are looking for motivated KS2 Learning Support Assistants to join our supply pool. In this role, you will be the bridge between students and their academic potential, working in vibrant Key Stage 2 environments to ensure every child has the support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to students, tailoring your approach to meet individual learning needs.
Assist the class teacher with the implementation of lesson plans and classroom management.
Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
Support pupils with additional educational needs (SEN) to help them engage with the curriculum.
Adapt quickly to new school environments and follow school-specific policies effectively.
Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff.
Qualifications:
Experience working within a primary school setting, specifically Key Stage 2.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and inclusive teaching strategies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children, staff, and parents.
A flexible and proactive approach to work.
Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (or equivalent practical experience).
A valid DBS check or willingness to complete one.
