Class 1 (C+E) Driver – General Haulage
Location: Derby, Derbyshire
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join a new general haulage contract based in Derby.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general haulage deliveries safely and efficiently.
Complete vehicle checks before and after shifts.
Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
Complete delivery paperwork and relevant vehicle documentation.
Maintain high standards of driving, safety and customer service.
Comply with all road transport regulations and working time requirements.
Requirements:
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road safety regulations.
Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
What We Offer:
£21.00 PER HOUR NIGHTS
£19.50 PER HOUR DAYS
DAYS/TRAMPING/NIGHTS
General haulage
