Warehouse Operative
Location: Openshaw, Manchester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (flexibility to work until 6:00pm when required)
About the Role
Our client, a leading UK manufacturer, is experiencing significant growth and increased demand for their products. To support their continued success, they are seeking reliable and experienced Warehouse Operatives to join their busy team in Openshaw.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a thriving business, where you will play a key role in ensuring products are prepared, processed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Filling tester jars with paint, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
• Loading and unloading containers safely and efficiently.
• Processing stock and customer orders accurately.
• Wrapping stock and pallets securely for storage and dispatch.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Supporting housekeeping and recycling activities across the warehouse.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements
• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• A reliable, hardworking, and positive approach to work.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
Working Hours
• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Flexibility to work until 6:00pm when required
• 1-hour unpaid lunch break
• Additional 15-minute unpaid break
