Your new company
We are seeking skilled maintenance technicians for days based roles in Southampton. You will work closely with the site maintenance team on pre-planned maintenance and reactive maintenance of heavy plant equipment including cranes, pumps and air bridges. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 07.30-16.00 and early finish on Fridays.
Your new role
Day to day, you will carry out mechanical maintenance works to a variety of assets, including air bridges, cranes, vehicle ramps and pumps. You will undertake all works in a safe and efficient manner. You will carry out pre-emptive and reactive works ensuring key assets and infrastructure remain operational. You will be available for work/call-out requirements and be a member of the "call-out roster"
What you'll need to succeed
NVQ level 3 in mechanical engineering, experience in PPM and reactive maintenance on mobile cranes, and air bridges. Electrical ability, fault-finding in electrical or mechanical plant, understanding of schematics. Knowledge of diesel-powered generators and hydraulic systems.
