About
A fantastic part time opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and resilient Compliance Assistant to join our busy Head Office. We are looking for a team-player, who possesses excellent planning skills and is able to work flexibly. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential for this role.

Type of contract: Part Time, Permanent
Salary: £12.60 P/H
Working Hours: Hours 20 per week - over 4 or 5 days
Holiday Entitlement: 28 days per year (including bank holidays)

Key responsibilities include:

Perform general administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and managing emails.
Take meeting minutes when required.
Provide administrative support to the department, ensuring accurate documentation of accidents and incidents.
Promote awareness and understanding of compliance-related matters across the organization.
Coordinate with internal teams and external providers to schedule training sessions and courses.
Manage the ordering, administration, and distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees.
Address employee and manager queries related to company policies and procedures.
Assist the Health & Safety Officer in carrying out daily tasks in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Carry out additional compliance-related duties or other responsibilities as needed by the business.

Skills and Experience:

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, contractors, and suppliers
Confidence and adaptability to work across both factory and office environments
A self-motivated individual who can work independently, meet deadlines, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
Proven administrative skills and a high level of computer literacy
