At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Japanese sous chef to work with a leading company in the food manufacturing sector in London. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in Japanese cuisine, ideally within a 5-star dining or high-volume kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards, and experience with modern kitchen systems and recipe management.

Shift patterns:

* 05:00 - 12:30 | Mon - Fri | Fixed

Pay rates:

* £52,000 per annum

Essential requirements for Japanese sous chef:

* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef specialising in Japanese cuisine, ideally in 5-star dining or high-volume kitchens.

* Fluency in Japanese (speaking, reading and writing) is essential.

* Strong leadership skills, HACCP and food safety knowledge, experience with modern kitchen systems, and a recognised culinary qualification are required.

Role for Japanese sous chef:

* Lead kitchen operations and maintain high standards of Japanese culinary excellence.

* Manage food safety protocols and ensure full compliance with HACCP regulations.

* Oversee recipe management and kitchen systems to ensure efficiency and consistency.

* Supervise kitchen staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
