Main duties will include the day to day delivery of care guided and planned by registered nurses and other registered professionals such as therapists and advanced clinical practitioners.

Whitworth Hospital is a small community hospital on the outskirt of Matlock town centre, providing excellent care for the local and wider community.
The role of the Healthcare Assistant is integral to the provision of high standard person centred patient care. You will work alongside the Registered Nurses and Multidisciplinary team to deliver individualised care to a client group with wide ranging clinical needs.
Working within a Multidisciplinary team, you will maintain effective and collaborative channels of communication with your colleagues and take into account the needs and feelings of others.
You will ensure that correct procedures and treatment are carried out as prescribed by the Registered Nurses to ensure the comfort and safety of patients, and report any concerns about patients to the Registered Nurses.
You will be required adhere to strict patient confidentiality. You will complete accurate records about the care you have delivered to patients and work within information governance policies and procedures.
