Rapier Employment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy and successful retail operation in Brackmills, Northampton.

With excellent hourly rates, premium weekend pay, day and night opportunities and flexible shift patterns, this is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing work and long-term prospects.

EXCELLENT PAY RATES – UP TO £29.63 PER HOUR!

DAY SHIFTS

- £18.52 per hour – Monday to Friday

- £27.78 per hour – Overtime after 8 hours

- £27.78 per hour – Every hour worked at weekends

- Plus holiday pay

NIGHT SHIFTS

- £19.75 per hour – Monday to Friday

- £29.63 per hour – Overtime after 8 hours

- £29.63 per hour – Every hour worked at weekends

- Plus holiday pay

Even better – weekend hours are paid at the premium rate from the first hour!

FLEXIBLE SHIFT PATTERNSWe have a choice of regular rotas to suit different lifestyles:

SUNDAY – THURSDAY

- Start times between 10:00–14:00 or from 17:00

TUESDAY – SATURDAY

- Start times between 10:00–14:00 or from 17:00

Flexible start times available! We are happy to discuss your availability and find a shift pattern that works for you.

THE JOB

- Retail deliveries and collections

- Driving modern, well-maintained vehicles

- Completing vehicle safety checks

- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently

- Completing relevant paperwork

- Representing a professional transport operation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 12 months

- Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience

- Valid Driver CPC

- Valid Digital Tachograph Card

- Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)

- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations

- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude

Retail delivery experience is desirable but not essential.
