You'll be joining a major civil engineering project in Flintshire, supporting a well‑established team delivering high‑spec concrete works as part of a wider infrastructure programme. Your new role

As a Freelance Concrete Technician, you'll take responsibility for on‑site concrete quality control, ensuring every delivery meets project specifications and British Standards. You'll carry out flow tests, assess workability, complete all quality documentation, prepare cube samples and report any non‑conformances immediately to the Project Engineer. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced and central to maintaining construction quality on a busy site.Concrete_testing_standards

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Concrete Technician / Materials Technician / Quality Technician
• Strong knowledge of flow/slump testing and concrete workability checks
• Ability to complete quality records accurately and consistently
• Confidence working independently on a live construction site
• Understanding of BS EN 12350 and BS EN 12390 (desirable)
• CSCS card and any relevant testing qualifications (preferred)
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to reporting issuesConcrete_cube_sampling
