About

Personal Assistant (PA) Wanted – 6 Hours Per Week

I'm looking for a kind, reliable, and enthusiastic Personal Assistant (PA) to support my daughter for 6 hours per week.

My daughter is autistic and has additional disabilities. She is a bright, capable young person who enjoys being active and getting out in the community. While she is able to do many things independently, she benefits from support with certain activities, encouragement, and someone who understands her individual needs.

She loves:

- Swimming

- Days out

- Trips to the beach

- Visiting Folly Farm

- Having fun and exploring new places

The role involves supporting her to access activities in the community, helping to build her confidence and independence, and ensuring she has a safe, enjoyable time.

We're looking for someone who is:

- Kind, patient, and understanding

- Reliable and trustworthy

- Enthusiastic about supporting young people

- Able to encourage independence while offering the right level of support

- Must be able to drive

- Ideally experienced with autism or additional needs (although the right attitude is just as important)

Hours: 6 hours per week (days and times can be discussed and agreed).
