Cook Supervisor
Dounby Primary School
30 hours per week
Temporary up to 12 May 2028
£31,607 - £32,243 pro rata
£16.38 – £16.71 per hour
The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.
You will be reporting to Service Manager – Corporate Catering.
Your working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 14:30, including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of the responsible for the provision of the school meal service at Dounby Primary School.
Duties include preparation, cooking and service of food, supervision of staff, menu planning, ordering of provisions, ensuring all aspects of service provision complies with food safety and completion of associated records, cash handling and liaising with school staff, parents, and pupils.

This post is a regulated role with children and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
