You will own the resource planning of our resource planning within fulfilment operations, ensuring that our shifts are staffed with the optimal number of people to achieve our patient requirements and within the budgets for labour cost. You will drive continuous improvements and act as a key member of the site leadership teams. You’ll have a strong desire to always drive improvements, with a competitive spirit of always wanting to improve. This is a key role to ensuring the operation is able to perform at its maximum capacity.

What you’ll be doing?
Own the monthly, weekly and daily labour requirements, planning and ensuring the correct headcount is available for our shift management team to run their shift at the optimal level
Work closely with the data team to convert forecasts provided into labour plans for our shifts
Ensure that all plans produced are in line with the budgets, as set out by the Operational leadership team
Review daily the success of the plan, working closely with the shift management team to refine future plans – adopting a culture of continuous improvement where you always want to achieve even better results
Produce reports for key stakeholders to communicate operational metrics
Assess and manage hiring and/or training requirements in line with forecasted volumes
Track progress of internal training (NVQ2 / ACDA’s) alongside our shift management team, to ensure training is completed on time and in full
Act as a partner to the shift management team, ensuring they have the resources to meet the requirement of their role, whilst also acting as a healthy challenge to always drive improved performance
Who are we looking for?
Highly numerate with an analytical mindset
Good knowledge of excel, able to use formulas to streamline your work and automate tasks
Understanding of financial budgets and how operational efficiencies can drive improvements in this area
Proven ability to problem solve using data
Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with an ability and willingness to challenge people openly in order to drive performance
Prior experience of manipulating and analysing data in Excel/ Google Sheets
Ability to use Excel at an intermediate level
A proactive mindset, with a strong sense of curiosity and a collaborative approach to understanding and resolving a challenge
Ambitious to learn and develop their career
