Location: Uckfield, East Susses

Rate of Pay: £13.17 per hour

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:30pm

Work Type: Permanent

Warehouse Operative to join our client's busy warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a permanent position within a supportive working environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for picking and packing customer orders, supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, and ensuring products are handled accurately and efficiently. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous warehouse experience or those looking to start a career within logistics.

This is a hands-on role that requires good attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to stay active throughout the working day.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure products are prepared correctly and ready for dispatch.
• Check orders carefully to ensure accuracy and quality standards are maintained.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
• Load, unload and move stock safely around the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and warehouse processes.
• Work closely with colleagues to support the smooth running of daily operations.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse, picking, packing or logistics experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves being on your feet throughout the day.
• Reliable, punctual and able to demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
