£38,000 Basic Salary | Realistic £40,00+ Earnings | Full Training Provided

The Best Connection is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for our client based in Nursling This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where you'll receive full training, and have the opportunity to secure a permanent position following successful probation period.

New passes are welcome!

What's on offer?

- £38,000 basic annual salary

- Realistic earnings of £40,000+ per year

- Overtime available after 45 hours

- Working Monday to Friday 50 hours a week

- 32 days annual leave

- Temp-to-perm opportunity after 16 weeks

Working hours

- Monday to Friday

- 06:00am to 16:30pm

- Regular overtime available

- Weekend work available for those looking to maximise earnings

The Role

You'll be delivering and collecting skips from the Romsey site to variety of commercial and residential customers across the local area.

No heavy lifting involved, it's all mechanically lifted off

Daily duties include:

- Driving and operating class 2 skip vehicles

- Delivering and collecting skips

- Vehicle checks before and after each shift

- Travelling between scheduled jobs throughout the day

- Following safe systems of work and health & safety procedures

Full Training Provided

No skip experience? No problem...

Training will be provided covering:

- Vehicle and equipment procedures

- Safe systems of work

- Operating a skip

- Job completion processes

Requirements:

- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence

- CPC Qualification card

- Digital Tachograph card

- Reliable and professional approach

- Good communication skills

- Willingness to learn and undertake specialist training

Previous skip experience not required
