Role-Specific Information Job Title: 37 hours per week maternity fixed term cover Location: Cross site at Spinney Medical Centre and Eccleston Medical Centre Job Responsibilities The Patient Care Advisor / Administrator is responsible for providing high-quality administrative and front-line support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. The postholder will deliver excellent patient service, manage appointments and enquiries efficiently, maintain accurate patient records, and support the clinical and management teams in delivering safe, patient-centred care. Key duties include: Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and courteous manner Managing telephone calls, appointment bookings, and patient enquiries Processing prescriptions, referrals, and administrative documentation Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in line with practice policies Supporting clinicians and the wider practice team with administrative tasks Ensuring compliance with NHS regulations, data protection, and confidentiality standards Assisting with general office duties to support the effective operation of the practice
