About

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver for our well establish client based in Mitcham on a 12 week Temp-Perm basis.

Role: Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Mitcham

Job Type: 12 week Temporary to Permanent (via agency)

Pay:

• £14.56 per hour
• Overtime after 40 hours paid at £21.84 per hour

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00am-5:45pm

Key Responsibilities of the Counterbalance Forklift Driver:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Moving and stacking stock in designated areas.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required.
• Carrying out daily forklift safety checks.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Keeping the warehouse and working areas clean and tidy.

Requirements of the Counterbalance Forklift Driver:

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
• Previous forklift driving experience preferred.
• Good awareness of health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to warehouse duties.
