Food Production Operatives – Days and Nights

We’re currently recruiting reliable Food Production Operatives to join an established food production site, with both day and night shifts available.

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for regular work, with a choice of shift pattern depending on your availability and preference.

The Role

Working as part of the production team, you’ll be involved in the preparation and packing of fresh vegetables.

Your duties will include:

Washing and preparing vegetables

Chopping and processing produce

Preparing products for packing

Bagging finished products

Maintaining required quality standards

Working efficiently while following food safety and workplace procedures

Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment

You’ll be working on a production line for extended periods, so you’ll need to be comfortable standing for long durations and working within a food production environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you’ll need:

Previous experience is not essential

Previous food production experience is advantageous

Comfortable working with food

Able to stand on a production line for extended periods

Reliable and hardworking approach

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Good attention to quality and hygiene standards

Duration

Temporary ongoing work

Regular shifts available

Permanent contracts available for suitable candidates

Immediate starts available

Working Hours

You can choose between day or night shifts depending on your availability and preference.

Days: 08:00 – 17:00

Nights: 20:00 – 05:00

5 shifts per week

Shifts worked Monday to Sunday, depending on availability

Pay and Benefits

£12.71 per hour – Days

£13.31 per hour – Nights

Up to 28 days’ holiday accrued pro rata

Choice of day or night shifts

Regular weekly work

5 shifts per week
