About

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a trade counter assistant for our client based in Swanley.

The hours of work are 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Pay for this role is £12.75 per hour.

Duties will include:

• Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
• Manage customer orders, quotations, deliveries, invoices and stock requirements.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
• Monitor stock levels and help ensure products are available when required.
• Support the efficient running of the warehouse, trade counter and branch office.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing goods and resolve any stock or delivery issues quickly.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager and Sales team to achieve branch targets and business objectives.
• Monitor and respond to customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Keep up to date with products, company processes and systems, including SAP.
• Ensure company procedures, health & safety and branch standards are maintained.
• Communicate important customer, operational and market information to the Branch Manager.
• Work as part of the wider branch team to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
• Undertake other duties as required by management.

Having a counterbalance or bendi forklift licence would be an advantage.
