Are you the sort of person who enjoys a good football match, a trip to the cinema or singing along to the Foo Fighters? This could be the perfect role for you!

We're looking for two friendly, reliable PAs to support a fun-loving young man who enjoys making the most of life.

25 hours per week, with regular hours and flexibility around working patterns. Mostly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends depending on events and availability.

No two days are the same! One day you could be swimming, heading to the cinema, taking a train trip, watching live sport, listening to music, or supporting him to attend a concert or special event. He loves rock music (especially the Foo Fighters), films, and is a huge fan of football, rugby, cricket and darts.

He is non-verbal and communicates using his iPad, so patience, a good sense of humour and a willingness to get to know him and his unique communication style are essential. He also has PICA and may use a wheelchair in busy places or for longer outings, so you'll need to be observant, safety-conscious and able to think on your feet.

This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building positive relationships, encouraging independence and helping someone achieve their goals while having plenty of fun along the way.

Candidate qualities:

- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality

- Reliable with good timekeeping

- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative

- Hygienic, tidy and well organised

- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

- Honest and cheerful

- Creative

- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

- Must be comfortable with pets

- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

- 1 dog and 2 cats in household

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
