Transport Admin Clerk - Oldbury | Join a Busy Logistics Operation

Looking for your next opportunity in transport administration? We're recruiting for a Transport Admin Clerk in Oldbury to join a fast-paced logistics operation, supporting the transport team with the smooth running of daily operations.

Location: Oldbury

Pay: £13.00 per hour

We have multiple roles available; shift pattern options are

Monday to Friday 18:00 - 02:30 (8.5 hrs per day)

Monday to Friday 20:00 - 04:30 (8.5 hrs per day)

Monday to Friday 17:00 - 03:30 (10.5 hrs per day)

Key Responsibilities

Despatching transport drivers, agency drivers, and subcontracted routes.

Ensuring on-time departures, by calling drivers and managing exception reporting.

Performing general administrative tasks, such as answering telephone queries, printing route paperwork and maps.

Providing additional administrative support to the LGV Coordinators, Transport Shift Managers and Transport Operations Managers.

What We're Looking For

Previous administration experience (transport or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential).

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Good attention to detail.

Confident using computer systems.

Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

A positive attitude and a team-player mindset.
