Every day is different, and you'll play a key role in ensuring every delivery is completed with professionalism, care and outstanding customer service.

The Role

Starting each day from the

John Lewis Customer Delivery Hub in Handforth, you'll work as part of a two-person crew alongside an experienced driver.

Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Delivering a first-class customer experience on behalf of

John Lewis & Partners

✅ Assisting with loading and preparing the vehicle for the day's deliveries

✅ Helping plan the most efficient delivery routes using John Lewis delivery systems

✅ Contacting customers with estimated arrival times and delivery updates

✅ Carefully delivering furniture, electrical goods and home products into customers' properties

✅ Assisting with product installation and setup where required

✅ Taking pride in customers' homes by treating every property with respect and care

✅ Solving delivery challenges professionally to ensure complete customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

Essential:

✔ Comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding work

✔ Positive attitude and strong work ethic

✔ Excellent communication skills both face-to-face and over the phone

✔ Ability to provide exceptional customer service

Desirable:

⭐ Previous customer-facing experience

⭐ Experience within delivery, logistics or retail environments

(Full training provided)

Working Hours

You will work up to

4 days per week between

Monday and Saturday.

Shifts Available:

Monday - Friday

• 6:00am - 5:00pm
• 10:30am - 9:30pm

Saturday

• 6:00am - 5:00pm
• 7:00am - 6:00pm

Up to

41 hours per week

Pay Rates

Outstanding Rates of Pay:

✅

£13.05 per hour

✅

£15.80 per hour after 6pm

✅

Weekly Pay

Paid Induction

Successful candidates will attend a 1 day

paid induction at:

John Lewis & Partners Customer Delivery Hub

Stanley Green

Epsom Avenue

Handforth

SK9 3RN

Induction is on Monday 16th November at 9am
